Position title: PhD Student in Industrial and Systems Engineering

Kathryn is a first year PhD student in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a focus in human factors at the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a minor in mixed methods research and pursing a certificate in Clinical and Community Outcomes Research through the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research.

Kathryn joined Werner Lab in the fall of 2019 and has joint affiliations with the Center for Quality and Productivity Improvement and the Wisconsin Institute for Health Systems Engineering. Currently, Kathryn is working on a AHRQ-funded project aimed at designing, developing, implementing and evaluating a system of care that supports the safe journey of older adults after ED presentation.
