HelpCareConnect

  • HelpCare Connect is an innovative web-based, mobile-capable application that holds great potential for achieving improved caregiver inter-connectivity and overall caregiving experience by connecting caregiving networks. Multiple caregivers will be connected through web-based/mobile devices that can be used to collaboratively track, communicate, and manage key information around the care of an individual patient.

  • For example, a multi-child family may share caregiving responsibilities for a parent with Alzheimer’s disease, but currently has no mechanism for efficiently and effectively tracking and sharing the care plan with each other. What was once a mostly individual effort by a primary caregiver is transformed into teamwork through HelpCare Connect.

  • HelpCare Connect uses the information from the caregiving network through machine learning algorithms to provide individualized information, resources, and recommendations. Further, the machine learning component of HelpCare Connect seeks to distribute workload and adapt to feedback and changes to the caregiving network over time.
